Connecting to EDGA and EDGX
Both EDGA and EDGX Exchanges are located in Equinix's NY4 facility in Secaucus, New Jersey.  Direct Edge has developed back-up trading systems that will be used in the event the primary facility is unavailable.  These systems are available at Telx's facility in Clifton, New Jersey.  Click here for more information regarding connectivity to the back-up facility.

Connectivity Options

EdgeLink
EdgeLink allows customers to directly connect to one or more Direct Edge customer routers.  Through EdgeLink, firms have the freedom to manage their own connectivity by choosing their own telco provider or, if they have a presence within Equinix, order a cross-connect directly to Direct Edge.  For more information, click here.

Connect Edge
Connect Edge is a high-speed, low latency network available for customers to access both EDGA and EDGX Exchanges.  Firms can simply cross connect from within their own facility to one of multiple Direct Edge Points of Presence (PoP) to receive Connect Edge services.  Additionally, customers can leverage their existing connection to Direct Edge to receive raw market data from other market centers as well as send orders to other market centers.  For more information, click here.

Direct Edge Approved Extranets
Direct Edge has a number of approved financial extranets that firms may use to access both EDGA and EDGX Exchanges.  Click here for those extranets approved for access to, Equinix, our primary facility.  Approved extranets for access to our back-up facility in Telx can be found here.
