Direct Edge Exchange Documents

As of Monday, July 19th, Direct Edge completed its migration to exchange status and its new technology platform.  The EDGA and EDGX Exchanges are now trading all Tape A, B, and C symbols out of our new data center at Equinix’s NY4 facility in Secaucus, New Jersey. A list of frequently asked questions surrounding the process can be found below.


The following documents will assist end users, business stakeholders, and technology staff to support the new features and functionality for the now fully operational EDGA and EDGX Exchanges.  Please note these documents are subject to change so be sure to check our web site periodically to ensure you are viewing the most recent information.  Each update will be noted with the date next to the description in parentheses. 

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION & AGREEMENTS

To become a Direct Edge customer, please complete the following applications for both EDGA and EDGX Exchanges:

BILLING INFORMATION


As Direct Edge is in the process of converting both ECN platforms to fully licensed stock exchanges, some changes are required to the billing process.  The document below details these changes, both during and after the migration.
Direct Edge will debit execution and related fees from subscriber NSCC accounts pursuant to our Direct Debit program unless the subscriber opts out of the process.  Firms that choose not to participate in the Direct Debit program for billing must complete the following document:
Beginning Friday, July 2nd, the first production symbols began trading on the new Exchange platforms. Below is the full symbol migration schedule to manage ECN and Exchange charges during that period:
