Direct Edge received SEC approval on March 12, 2010 to operate its EDGA and EDGX platforms as two, fully independent stock exchanges. With the transition from ECN to exchange complete, Direct Edge remains more committed than ever to ensure the integrity of the marketplace by protecting all its investors and following sound business practices. Our rules are designed to promote equality and fairness while simultaneously preventing fraud and manipulation with processes in place should disciplinary action be necessary.
